Hallmark Seeks Graphic Designers and Illustrators National Deadline: Open Until Filled - Hallmark Cards is seeking graphic designers with an affinity for storytelling through the use of beautiful and sophisticated imagery. Portfolio must demonstrate good aesthetic judgment in the use of color, typography, layout and format. Candidates must have a keen understanding of current social/visual design, fashion and home decor trends. Qualified candidates should be self-starters with strong organizational skills and ability to work within a team environment.
Illustrators
Hallmark Cards is seeking traditional illustrators to join our creative team. Qualified artists will have the ability to create cute, appealing, characters, critter/human in storytelling situations. Original concept characterization, excellent drawing skills and range in painting techniques are a priority. Must be able to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
Job Requirements - BFA in graphic design, or Illustration or related field or a portfolio that demonstrates equivalent training or experience is required
- Expertise in PhotoShop required
- Basic knowledge of Illustrator and Quark is a plus
